I Hate Stereotypes Peaople pin them on me everyday, i just have to walk around in town to be called an emo because i wear black and have emo friends, i decided to post a thread about it, I got together a few Stereotypes and they are below, i want you to take the ones most relevent to you, post them with a comment about how they make you feel, and whether they are true or not, if you have any other stereotypes please post them here aswell, i have put the stereotypes most relevant to me in my signature.

I'm JEWISH, so I MUST be greedy.

I'm GAY, so I MUST have AIDS.

I'm a LESBIAN, so I MUST have a sex-tape.

I'm ARAB, so I MUST be a terrorist.

I SPEAK MY MIND, so I MUST be a *****.

I'm OVERWEIGHT, so I MUST have a problem with self control.

I'm RELIGIOUS, so I MUST shove my beliefs down your throat.

I'm an ATHEIST, so I MUST hate the world.

I'm REPUBLICAN, so I MUST not care about poor people.

I'm DEMOCRAT, so I MUSTmust not believe in being responsible.

I'm SOUTHERN, so I MUST be white trash.

I TAKE ANTI-DEPRESSANTS, so I MUST be crazy.

I'm a GUY, so I MUST only want to get into your pants.

I'm a GIRL, so I MUST be over-dramatic.

I'm IRISH, so I MUST have a bad drinking problem.

I'm INDIAN, so I MUST own a convenient store.

I'm NATIVE AMERICAN, so I MUST dance around a fire screaming like a savage.

I DON'T LIVE WITH MY CHILD, so I MUST be a dead beat parent.

I'm ATHLETIC, so I MUST be stupid.

I'm PREPPY, so I MUST shun those who don't wear Abercrombie & Hollister.

I'm a TEENAGER, so I MUST drink and do drugs.

this is to help people understand that stereotypes are Stupid! and Usually Wrong

That one angers me the most, since when does hair colour have anything to do with how smart you are? I'm gonna sound like a complete big head for saying this but I'm one of the smartest in my year & I'm blonde. My friend who is a brunette is really dizzy, you say something to her and she says "yeah yeah" then two minutes later she snaps out of staring into space and says "what did you just say?"

So why are blondes supposedly "dumb"?

Thank you For being serious!! That is one of the most common stereotypes and is very pointless because there are a lot of very clever, bright and amazing blonde people, im sure you arent a "blonde" in the way the stereotypes depict.
