apparently if you gargle salt water its meant to stop the sore throat (ive never tried it and never would but thats whta ive heard

What helps is drinking hot soup with pepper inside, or having honey with pepper or, gargling with salt water like seacat says. I currently have a sore throat and cold, and that's what im doing and it's healing.

When I have a sore throat I find it easier to drink constantly and normally go to sleep cus it normally feels better after a sleep for me :p
