Pro Life or Pro Choice?

The capital punishment thread got me thinking on people's views on abortions.
If you don't know, pro life means you're against abortions and pro choice means you're for abortions. Discuss.

Pro Choice doesn't mean you're for abortion. It simply means you give women a choice whether or not they want to abort.

I think it depends on the situation.

If she was raped and got pregnant I think she should have a choice. However if she was carelessly sleeping around without protection I don't think she should be allowed to have an abortion.

Unless the person was raped I don't think people should be allowed to have abortions. If they really don't want to take care of a kid why not just give it up for adoption?

You see all of these people who desperatly want a child, And people are having abortions?
Women who want abortions should have the baby and then give it up for adoption.
If you abort your taking away someones life, And in my opinion its murder.

I've always been against abortion. As Soph mentioned, it's like taking away somebody's life, not giving them a chance to live but ending their life just like that. It's not right and it's unfair for the poor child.

Not sure. Some people don't want babies and they use condoms, but they split and they end up pregnant, if they don't want kids then they're gonna be a tad annoyed if they cannot get an abortion.

However, I think they should still have a choice, as many teenagers are now aged 16 - 18 who get pregnant, now if it happened to my gf, well i would ask her what she wants to do, as either way i will do my little bit

Depends, I read just yesterday about a woman carrying a rapists baby and she aborted it. I think if the situation is as bad as that you should have a choice. Hence why I voted Pro choice.

I'm pro choice.
Its a woman's body therefore she has the right to choose.
Some situations it's the right choice, as in ****, birth defects, etc.
Sometimes its not like if they are pregnant and dont want kids.
Alot of cultures have their own beliefs.
Untimatley its not a baby until it breathes, its a feotus(sp).
Some people will always make the wrong choices, but they have the right to choose what choice they make.
