Whats her problem?

It all started a year back my mate asked me if he could introduce me to his girlfriend of course I was fine with it why wouldn't I be? So we agreed to meet at the cinema the next day. Right so me and my mate got there early so we were sitting there talking and having a laugh and I blurt out 'What kind of freaky girl would want t go out with you?' We both laugh then this girl comes over gives me evils and says 'me' You can proberly imagine what I was thinking in my head unfortunetly I can't put it on here as that would be breaking the forum rules.

So then we go on to line up for our tickets there was a very awkward silence I then asked her where she lived she gave me the shortest answer possible my mate asked her if she was ok and she just said 'yes' . I get very uncomfortable in awkward situations so I decided to crack a joke. So I thought what could this joke be? what what? hmm so I looked at her and she was wearing a long leather jacket that almost touched the floor. hmmm... 'are you a fan of the matrix' I said big mistake 'NO' she said my mate laughed. For the rest of that evening she didn't talk to me.

That night I was thinking and I thought that maybe I offended her because of the things I said so the next day when I saw her I said sorry she said 'its fine don't worry I actualy knew you were joking' So I thought it was sorted Then later on that day I see my mate and he comes out with ' why are you saying things to [ enter girls name here] ' I tried to tell him I didn't say anything other than sorry and he had like a major stress about it we didn't talk for three months

After those three months passed my mate came crawling back to me to with a big apology I didn't accept it at first but I did give in after a while. I left school went to college and a year passed. A few weeks ago I started the second year of college I was walking in went down the hallway and who was standing there .... her ! I went over and said hi and she like totally blanked me ! I was like oh c'mon it was a year ago. she still blanked me. This is still happening now and I'm getting fed up with it she also keeps giving me evils ! I wanna clear the air because I seeher alot and I don't like the feeling someone dosn't like me anyone know what I can do?

Tell her out right.

'C'mon what happened, happened, it was ages ago can't we jsut put it behind us? I made a mistake we're meant to be mature so c'mon forgive me?'
And if that works a good will gesture is advised. Like 'ill buy you a drink' or just a 'we should catch up' buts thats optional.
