Taking Nurofen.

Before you say "why did you post it here" its because other proper forums i've tried no-one is replying, so i'm trying here, okay?!

Today, i've had period pains, and i usual fix it by taking nurofen (pills for headaches & so on), the first two times it worked, but when it came to the third time of having them, they didnt seem to go.

Now, the point im worried about is, i've taken 6 more then i should of, which means i've taken 12 today. And i also took the last 6/7 in under 2 hours, when i should of had a 4 hour gap between each.

Now, that i've thought about it, i'm actually scared that this could be pretty bad and you can kind of guess what might happen. So, is 12 not enough to actually OD meaning i'm okay, or should i be careful anyway?

Taking more than reccomended regularly can cause problems, but if it's a one off then I'd just keep an eye on how you're feeling over the next few hours. If you start to feel sick, or anything, seek some medical assistance.

You should stick to the reccomended amounts and not exceed them, but 12 shouldnt cause too many problems. Keep track on how you are feeling and tell your mum/dad about it so they can also keep an eye on you.
