    Just buy a hub.

    Router > Hub > PC
    _________|--> 360

    And please learn English.

    A hub basically shares one connection to many things.

    So you buy something like http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/sto...&category_oid=

    Then you plug your router into it by network cable, then plug your 360 and PC into the hub by network cables.

    Yeah, just get a hub or a switch and you just need to plug all three devices into it. Your PC, XBOX, and internet.

    Just an idea, but would the cable connecting to his modem need to be a crossover cable rather than a standard ethernet?

    Nope, just use a normal CAT5e ethernet cable.
