It's the only way to improve, to be mean.

If you say - "yeh it's ok" - they'll never improve because they think their designs are currently good.

If you say the honest truth - they will improved, i mean - look at me for example.

I find it hard to be constructive on something that I dislike.

If my opinion doesn't count then I might aswell vanish from the forum - because that's what this forum's for correct?

Then you have no clue to the meaning of constructive, if you dislike the posters work then you should say what you dislike and why, then you should give tips to say what would make it better.

    Like you're doing?

    Essay
First point is the colour scheme, the grey's are so depressing and to my eyes - the scanlines are too 'in your face' for a hosting layout. Many hosting layouts now don't even use scanlines - if they do it would be a low opacity [5-10%].
The font in the banner is just, plain, ordinary, bog-standar font with no blending options on it what so ever. If I came to a site like that - I would probably leave immediatly due to the fact the layout is sending me to sleep.
The actual font in the layout isn't appealing - it's more bold and arial-like and not a standard font for many, if not all websites which is usually either Tahoma or Verdana but some sites can vary.
The big grey rounded square in the middle of randomness is a bit... random. It doesn't seem to fit in with the layout 'theme' and it's just a random grey box with no life, and nothing to do.
The links are in a very weird place for a hosting layout - if the links are to be like that then they need to be intergrated into the site layout properly.
The overall design of the layout is bland, boring and... bland. The layout is too small and very impractical for anyone or anything.

I don't like writing CC because most of the time - it's not read.

This is solely my opinion and therefore it doesn't count - because opinions don't on this forum.

    Good things about the layout.

    Bad things about the layout.
    Everything really.
The fonts a bit boring use some blending options.
Use a brighter colour than grey. It's dull.
Either get rid of the scanlines or lower the
    opacity.
