Guide to IRC (sort of :P)

IRC is an Internet Relay Client which allows people to connect to a certain server (irc.swiftirc.net = #Habbox-Chat 's is on there) and allows you to talk to people through it. Its also widely used (swiftirc network) For Pest Control worlds e.g. #pest #pestcontrol #pc #pest-hq #pc-hq #pc etc.


QUESTIONS:
[How Do i Get on it]
You can use SwiftSwitch, Once you download it Click "Show Internal Utilities" and Click Chat, Insert your a "nickname" and #Habbox-Chat where the channel is.

[It Says "Unable to Join this Channel"]
It means you banned from the Chat for some reason?

[Why should i use it?]
1. Its easy way to chat to each other
2. Its easier to spam in and you get away with it unless Operators dont like it but atleast you dont chance getting banned on forums? .

[Theres Dingo in There, who is that?]

Dingo Is just a Services Bot for regular commands [E.g !k Balla = Kicks Balla from the room]

[Theres RuneScript in there, whos that?

RuneScript is a stats bot, it includes scripts for runescape highscores, Pc Scripts etc. www.rscript.org < RuneScript's site for commands.

[Is SwiftSwitch Safe?]

SwiftSwitch is 100% Safe, www.runescapecommunity.com then go SwiftSwitch theres topics in therer saying so.





[I dont trust SwiftSwitch how else can i get on?]

You can use any Internet Relay Client. e.g.

www.mIRC.com < mIRC
www.VIRC.com < VIRC
www.swiftirc.net/chat < CGI:IRC

Theres also other clients e.g. PJIRC which can be uploaded onto a website and then accessed via that.

PS: If you saying 'why post it in RuneScape bit if its #Habbox-Chat' well its because SwiftIRC is for Runescape and is based on Runescape and not habbo
