    Default WIP: Layout

Here is a layout for a tutorial website I am thinking of making.

Please be honest and I know the header is boring but its all I could really think of. Ideas, suggestions, tips are all good. I am quite new to making layouts as such; so advice is hot.

    Very hot.
    And the header is fine.
    +rep if I can.

Better than all the previous techtuts versions and the one they are going to release imo.

Two words I could advise to you: Use images.

You need to use images to attract the user into the template, and make sure they are relevant. At the moment a linguistic person would view the website but not a type of person who is pictorial. You need to add images to add some contrast, the text is driving the template, but images is stopping it from going where it wants to.

Great foundation for a WIP, you just need to build upon it.

Clean yet effective, although I dislike the navigation due to the colour scheme used.

Perhaps use a vary of contrasting colours?
Good-bye signature, I love <NOT ALLOWED NAME AT ALL> despite the infraction his last name got me.

Free speech? Not anymore, you gotta' love this forum.

I would agree with that, theres something not there.. It may just be the plain effect for me. There needs to be something added to fill the white space... I'm really unsure, theres something not right about it.
