You kind of made Computer Talk pointless

Hey;

The new forum with Gadgets & Whatnot is pointless as it covers most aspects of Computer Talk as people are talking about PDA which is a small 'computer' Operating Systems what would a computer do without one and other crap.

I don't think it should be there either, if you want it somewhere then the computer section would be the best place. If you have it at all it must be for non-computer related graphics as it will ruin the computer section.

I think it was meant for talk about mobile phones and things like that. As there wasn't really a forum for it.

The computing section is to talk about computers, desktops, laptops etc.

The gadgets and technology is to discuss any new gadgets and technology, and mainly for people to discuss mobile phones etc. as we were noticing a lot of people posting about that sort of thing in the discuss anything forum.

Similar to a lot of forums, stuff like PDA's could be put in more than one forum, and thats why we changed our rules before to make posting in the wrong forum less strict, as often the case is that something falls under more than one section - in this case PDA's could be in computer or gadgets/technology.

Fair enough; I see how you could come to this; but please be strict when it comes to proper computers like the Vista thread (was there) as that has everything to do with Computer Talk.

Then you contradict the whole Computer Talk forum, and may as well delete it. I'm guessing that is why people are refusing to move the Office 2007 and Vista threads.

They're to do with PC computers, Desktop Computers, Laptops/Notebooks, they're an appliance for a PC Personal Computer if you need any more evidence to the contrary then please feel free to PM me;

But until then I suggest you move them otherwise it's pointless having the computer talk thread and it will more-a-less mean people can post about cars in the runescape section as Office and Vista are not gadgets, they're technology but they're computer technology, I don't think vista goes on a PDA or Mobile....
