This guy HAS to be my hero. He has influenced me in so many ways and has made me do so many crazy things which i feel have "improoved" me in some way. To start with i starved myself for a w33k as a tribute to his "above the below" challenge.

I am also somewhat of a magician and he made me get a deck of cards out so many times it is un-countable. It's impossible to tell you how much of an influence he is on me. His book is also a great insite into his life.

Also, that time on GMTV when like the whole nation ripped him, i just watched with my jaw drooped thinking, OMG, this is amazing and when i was on holiday i got an eye tattoed onto my hand =]

anyway David ROCKS! hes my hero til the end.

I went to go and see him in Tower Bridge when he was in his box for the 'Above the Below' thing. It was quite scary actually. He didnt look too good when I saw him. Lol. It was quite interesting though, especially as he was doing it not too far from where I live.
    But I think he's a bit strange... :s

I can't quite understand him, but I don't dislike him, it's not easy to make me believe something, and I am not sure whether this might be a publicity act.

But the more I see documentarys and programmes about his tricks and stuff, he seems quite genuine and because he isn't totally obsessed with press and getting himself in magazines, it's like evidence that he isn't doing it for publicity.

I am really not quite sure, sometimes I do think he's a little crazy, although he may have his reasons, as in 'powers'.
Thats what makes me wonder if it is a lie, because I don't really believe any humans have 'powers', but it might be the time to start believing.

Edit >> I didn't go to see him, but alot of my friends did, and this boy attempted to throw an egg at his box, even though it was out of order.
It was so sad how many people were putting up posters and stuff against it, whats it to them, if they don't like it, then they should ignore it.

Didn't he lie about the box thing, and there was a cover he went behind for food or something, or is that total rubbish?

When you understand him, you understand that he isnt faking it. He has challenged himself his whole life. He would rather have escaped above the below in a body bag then give it up.

After seeing a clip of him on GMTV when Eamon Holmes was on The Friday Night Project I couldn't stop laughing. He said next to no words, and spoke so quietly, it was just funny. I have no idea why, but I thought "What a fake"
