I was reading the paper and came across a story which said a school in the UK decided not to do a traditional christmas dinner this year and make a muslim meal instead this cuased outrage between parents who protested and got it changed so the students have a choice between the two. The question is why didn't they just do this in the first place instead of getting rid of christmas dinner
all together? your thoughts...

This is getting very VERY stupid. On the news the other day they were planning on changing the name Christmas to Winterval because of other religions. They are also changing the stamps aswell from angels to Santa which has also had a name change (which I can't remember what it was though, sorry).
It is stupid, even Muslims think it is stupid. A Muslim Student who was on the news talked on behalf of a Muslim Group saying that Christmas teaches EVERYONE important values and the name Christmas doesn't actually effect them, they actually like Christmas "/ She was also sat beside a Vicar who agreed with her all the way, they seemed like good friends, no matter what religion they were apart of...LEFT

I think this is a stupid idea to be honest, i mean, why should we change our British traditions for people that have came over here?
They should know well enough that if they come to here, we won't change just to suit their needs, and if they don't like what the name is or what school is serving, then they can do their own thing?

What a paranoid country we are becoming. Seriously the goverment are going mental, I am fed up of all the bloody complaints all the musilms, hindus and all the other cultures are making, ruining our celebrations, making us all miserable because we can't have the fun and games that we want. I though changing Christmas was enough, but now this as well. Next they will probaly change the name of England because of the Church of England isn't their religion.
