Hi

I had my tonsils out when I was little.. about 6 I think. I can't remember it that well but I was in there a few days and I don't think it was really that painfull, but I can remember having blood in my mouth for like the first day which was just sorta uncomfortable.

My dad had them removed, he was fine from what I can remember. Aren't your tonsils like completely useless? o.O

OMG IT HURTS LIKE HELL!!!!!! They put you to sleep and when I woke up I was in so much pain!!!! I had white stuff in the back, IT HURTS!!!!!!!

i know someone who had it done recenrtly and they were in pain afterwards
but she was quite old (40ish) and was a smoker so made it even worse

I got my tonsils taken out when i was 10, it hurts a bit when you swallow, and people say 'atleast you get to eat icecreams' well, beileve me, you wont want to eat ice creams when you have had your tonsils out, its sore!

I had em out nearly four years ago when I was ten .. it hurts ALOT when you swallow. And they gave me the best ice creams ever, and I didnt feel like eating them, it hurts so much , and you get all sorts of sticky saliva that you cannto swallow

How do we know you arent a wimp when it comes to pain?

I haven't had mine out, well not to my knowledge

I had my tonsils removed when I was very younge as I had a problem with breathing with my nose and with my hearing (I used to be partialy deaf) they thought they might aswell remove the tonsils aswell. It does not hurt from what I remember just you can't realy talk for a few days.

Lol , yeah i couldnt speak properly for a week and 3 days, and my throat was itchy.
