    I think "Paint It Black" by The Rolling Stones was a song way ahead of it's time.

    Other than a few songs here and there, Im not a huge oldie fan. R.E.M. is really the only pre-90's band I like. Maybe Im closed minded, but I just like more recent stuff.

    Isnt it? I know of a few heavy metal bands that cover it. Its from the 60's, but it sounds like it could be from the 80's.
