I totally agree with Jordy and he posted this in the wrong section so I will post it here for him!

" Hello, as you well know it's called the

    HABBO UK NEWS AND RUMOURS

The noun rumour has one meaning:
Meaning #1: gossip (usually a mixture of truth and untruth) passed around by word of mouth

A RUMOUR IS CLEARLY TRUTH OR UNTRUTH

When people post a RUMOUR MODs ask for proof.
If I posted a rumour with proof, it would then become NEWS.

So if a rumour has to provide a screenshot it would clearly be NEWS.

This rumour of the Habbo UK news and rumours forum is out of control and it's annoying lots of us.

Basically we may as well call it Habbo UK News if MODs aren't sticking to the true meaning of the word rumour.

Btw I know this is the wrong forum but this is really annoying me and lots of other members. Can a MOD clarify this? "

So we can post in the rumours section saying: 'OMG HABBO IS GOING TO BLOW UP, NO PROOF ONLY RUMOUR K'

Cause that goes by what you say. The News and Rumour forum would be spammed up.

LovePanda has a very good point :]! It's also because rumours have to have some sort of basis or they are not really rumours, more sort of suggestions aren't they . There needs to be a reason behind why you think it will happen saying something along the lines of "I saw it in housekeeping" is not sufficient enough to back up the rumour.

But that means we won't beleive anything without proof.
And how do you know it's not true that Habbo's going to blow up?

    I think theres a line.

Like people should be able to post saying something like "Hey theres a rumour going around that the *green parasol* is next on sale" without having to provide solid evidence, as it's in relation to Habbo and is a rumour.

If it's something compltely ridiculous and spam, aka "habbo is going to blow up" etc. then I think that can be removed etc. as it's clear it's spam and has no truth or meaning behind it.
