Default My First Alt. I need tips: Paino

Hi guys, this is the first alt I've ever made, I did it in MS paint, if some people could give me some tips and maybe rate it out of ten then I would appreciate it A LOT!!!!!

It's good, but the piano needs to be bit higher up, 8/10

Very good for a first ever.

To improve it, maybe make it higher (as the other guy said). I think the keys could be a bit deeper but you have made them look very good. Glad to see you attempted some shading but maybe the top surfaces would be lighter than the others? Also, underneath by the pedals would be dark.

The major thing you could improve are some of the black lines. Lines that simply join two panels of wood (like the lines above and below the book) should be a light shade of the colour you are using. This does imrpove it a lot.

    Other things to considder:
› most pianos have a lid over the keys.
› the book needs some pages (make it thicker).

Overall, still pretty good for your first alt.
I'll give some +rep if I see an update.

    Thanks,
    Rob. :8

    Thanks for the feedback

I took your guys advice and came up with this:

I don't understand what you mean to do with the pages though. I tried making the shade lighter but it ended up looking odd.. Anyway, I hope this is better!

With the pages I meant just make it look more like a book by making it thicker.

There are still black lines in the middle of the picture. These should be light shades of brown.
