Default Best way to train defence?

Now, I'm coming back to Runescape after a long break and need to get my defence up 4 levels to level 70.

Just wondering what you guys did/would do to get to level 70.
What weapons you would use & where would you go.

Anybody who gives useful advice will get +Rep.
    Thanks.

I want to get it done quickly.
    So I probably won't go to Lesser's
I will probably end up going to experiments and sitting down their for a few days.
    Killing them non-stop.

    heres what i would do:

    - equip the best weapon i can - to give the highest hits
    - equip good armour to minimise hits taken
    - train on something with a LOWER level than I am
    - find something that has a large group of them together

ive never trained on rock crabs/PC so i can't say if they are any good or not

Ye I've heared that using a whip is the best weapon.

I do not care about the drops just need to train.
I need to kill about 550 experiments acording to a calculator on Runehq, so I will most probably go there.
