It's good, but it's too transparent. Make it less transparent, and the text not transparent at all, then 8/10.

Sorry. Its hidious.
The 2 tone navigation is too brash, with the gradient being too extreme.
What does the layout say about you, and your work? Not much
Image intensive backgrounds? Terrible idea
Transparent text? Just no.
