Paint the walls and it'll look lots better

Quite a nice room. Here are some suggestions:

Paint the walls - It'll look much nicer as said above, gives some indepth colour.
Add more posters - More background touch to the room.
Add More furniture behind the bar - Fills up the large space + makes it look fuller
Add more vases - 1 single vase looks random, add some more to fill in some corners. You may have to change the seating plan around to fit in more vases, especially the couples seating section.
Add some bottles/empty cans - Gives more of a bar look y'know?

a dark grey one to give it the roman pub fill or just wait for gothic wallpaper to come out tbh

stack doormats at the top of the bar area inside it to make it like a roof to hide the furni underneith
