OK well its set for release in 2009 but i wonder who will play Bilbo should it be Ian Holm but make him look a lot younger, many people say that it will not be the same without Peter jackson or New Line.
Any of you think it will be any good?

Peter Jackson said he didn't want to do The Hobbit, but he didn't want anyone else to do it, either, so he might actually direct it.
I read that in Total Film, this months issue or last months, I forget.
It wouldn't really mind who directed it, as long as they're good and stayed fairly true to the book.

I heard about this film like 4 years ago.
It was in talks while Lord Of The Rings was being released.
