    Default Parents split up :(

    Hello all

    Tonight, my mum and step dad have split up. They have been together for 6-7 years, and now the step dad has gone. I didnt particularly like him, but my mum is in tears. I dont know what to do to stop her crying, she wont stop. I realized when I came home from school, and I saw my step dad leave in his car with loads of bags with clothes etc. I instantly knew something was wrong, and I saw mum crying in the living room when I got in. Can I stop her crying? What can I do to make her happy? And before you say "Figure it out before asking us", I have tried everything I can think of but she keeps crying. If your parents split up, what did you do?

    Its a bad time in our family now

    Sincerely,
    Typo.

    Do what he said.

    My parents are still together so I don't know what to say, just try and comfort her, ask her if she needs anything. Tell her not to worry.

    Leave her alone though also.

    Cook her dinner, try to cheer her up is my guesses.

    Wow, i've just been in the same situation. My mum and step dad broke up after 10 years of being together. I just always comforted her.

    if my parents had split up i wouldnt ask people off the net, because they dont know anything about my family or whats gone on, your just annoying now.

    slap your mum a few times around ther face & tell her to get a grip if shes been crying non stop since you've got back from school & you've done nothing to help her but sit at your computer, i think your a **** tbh /;

    To be honest, I think that was quite rude and idiotic.

    If it was a joke, it was a terrible one. Inhumane to do that to your crying mom.

    TBH, you should try to comfort her, I have seen my mom cry, and it hurts to see her cry.

    if he wants serious replies, he should ask serious people.
    this is the last place i'd ever ask for help as serious as this.

    & have you seen his threads, im only reacting like this because i think its a load of crap, there are people that really are having to put up with this & need the help, its not a nice thing to joke about, or even to pretend have done to you..

    Ok, so I joked around with threads before, big deal, this is no joke and it sickens me if anyone would do that.
