    Hey,

I think that most people prefer forums in the following order [1 being best]
    1. vBulletin
    2. Invision Pro Boards
    3. MyBB
    4. PHPBB
    5. SMF
    6. XMF
Although if you're willing to splash out a lil' cash then purchase a vBulletin forum as it's an amazing piece of software and is almost guarenteed visitors to your site.

    Thanks.

Any provideing it had a decent level of activty and selection of forums "/ Most forums i use are IPB since the people running them overall tend to be alot better at the job, VB has a pretty high incompitence level due to the type of people they target, so theres only a few decent forums useing it (like this one)

As a keep saying. Software is irrelivent to how well put together a forum is.
