I need to know if spending 1mil on normal bones is good.

Ive calculated that if I do spend 1mil on it, I can get 100k bones and bury for 450k exp.

But I need to know if this is a good idea or if im just wasting money.

Sounds like your just wasting money.

Go to hill giants or dragons train your combat skill collect the bones and bury.
May take longer but it's cheaper and you may get clue scrolls and get something good.

well you could bury them and make more exp then any other amount of bones (except for monkey bones but whose gonna have 100k of them)
or you could buy them and merchant them off for like 1 extra each bone and make lots

also burying them would take a LONG LONG time
