"Classic Rock"?

What can be deemed as "Classic Rock", In my opinon is bands such as Metallica and Iron Maiden and bands like that, as I'm really into them, but what do you think is "Classic Rock"

it's a stupid term that lost all meaning.
in principal it's a generalization for "classic" music from the rock spectrum; but in practise only bands who fit a certain style will be tagged under it.

Classic Rock isnt really a genre, more of a generalization of bands. Same with indie (as a label). And the bands that are most commonly put in the classic rock spectrum are overrated. God forbid Led Zeppelin bores me.
