TV Tuner USB

I'm looking at these Digital TV USB tuner thingys, the ones with built in or portable aerials to be precise. However will these work and have a good signal?

They do work, Hauppauge is a good make for TV Tuners. Obviously though, an indoor aerial like that won't be the same as a rooftop one, and the reception will depend on where you live.

I have that exact one. Signal is great with rooftop aerial however portable aerial is not very good tbh. Channels aren't watchable.
