Going into the wilderness and attacking proper pkers with one item that you will protect item over when skulled. Generally a tactic used by noobs.
Rarely works.

Because they have no defence, or strength bonus, and the pker who does has a much bigger advantage. However sometimes the 1 itemer might get lucky and hit a 20-20 with a dds, then another one. = k.o. and 1itemer gets everything

Basically what Yesum said. What gear you wear in the wilderness makes a HUGE difference usually. 1 itemers are generally annoying and deserve to be piled.

a lot of people tend to 1 item at the bank at the mage arena, its highly annoying. particularly when i was so close to escaping when they spec'd me :@
