Did you even try when you got to jad?
I really dont know anything bout him but when he lifts his legs in air your supposed to change prayer

I was proper confused when I first got to Jad, it took me 6 goes to actually get my cape.

If I remember correctly, it's like when he raises his legs and pounds them on the ground you switch to the protect range prayer and when he stands on his hind legs and stays there for a short period of time, you switch to the protect magic prayer.

It takes some getting used to, but goodluck

I did get him on 3/4 hp but its to confusing as his legs go up for both mage and range for mage they stay longer in the air but fur range its a quick lift and bang after he hit me the first time which was an 80 i was to bussy drinking sarabrew and restores i forgot which was which and got koed with a 36. Getting to jad is eassyyy but fighting him is hard and i didnt even get to fight his healers so when i do next time im gona have to face another challange
