    Default Selling runescape accounts

I'm making a complaint, not because I was scammed (I don't buy or sell accounts), but because many other people are being scammed.

The rule allowing them to sell accounts is crazy. You look, most people get scammed, then argue and people lose a lot of money, sometimes real life money. I don't think you should have that rule, then hardly anybody will be scammed via trading accounts; sure they can do it via PM, but less people will know.

It *IS* their own fault, but out of 10 trades 8 get scammed!

    Thanks.

I agree, it was a stupid rule allowing accounts to be traded.
Just let Habbox realise their mistakes due to the ''omg -name- scammed me'' threads cropping up.

Well it's a good idea. People really trade at their own risk.

Thanks. I suppose, but I don't think anybody made a complaint, I'm not sure so I decided to.

What's a good idea? Selling RS accounts or stop selling them?

I agree. I appreciate that Habbox is technically not a Runescape Fansite but I think they have an obligation to do their best to stop people getting scammed. It seems clear that the amount of scamming will increase if you allow people to do things (that in some cases are illegal) which make scamming very easy. I understand things like RS for Habbo, Habbo for RS trades could be seen as similar but generally it's much less of a loss if you were scammed in those situations. If people are being scammed Habbox do need to do something about it.

We allow other illegal forms of trading, e.g. rs-habbo trades or pin trades. If we're going to allow that, we may as well allow all other forms of trading becuase habbox make it clear it is "at your own risk." If you were sensible you wouldnt do it at all because it defeats the point of the game.

Exactly it should be allowed because of member pins being allowed but it is peoples own choice if they decide to trade/buy/sell acc's

You can't really compare selling member pins to selling accounts. People are spending quite a bit on these accounts, whereas a pin is like 500-700k.

You're right, but as you say people are spending money on them, which means that they have chosen to take the risk and they deserve the oppurtunity to take the risk as alot of acc trades have gone well.
