Default Forum Idea - New Section?

    Hello,

I'd like to see what people think about this idea. Would it be good to have a "Free Requests and Offers" section?

I've noticed lots of threads regarding free web hosts, shoutcast and other requests and offers in the "Web Market", "Web Hosts", "Online Radios", "Web Designing" and "Forum Designing" Forums within the Technology + Web section. This is just an idea as very often these threads appear. Would it be a good idea to split the paid and free market on Habbox so that people can tell if threads are looking for something for free or they are paying? Also this would mean all free requests across Habbox wouldn't be in various forums making it more unlikely for there to be a response. If all free offers and requests stayed in one place and all paid offers and requests in another this could possibly work better?

I'm not sure if this is a good or bad idea so I'd like to see what you guys think!
Please Vote in the poll so I can see what people's thoughts are!

    Thanks,

    Jay.

I don't see much of a point. It would be easier if people put [FREE] or [COSTS] at the start of the thread name.

I don't see why people cannot just use the web hosting forum as it's about hosting.

Humm interesting, but it kinda brings up the issue of the somewhat already confuseing design of the forums.

Webmarket = where people sell things
Requests = Where people request people to make/design things

Both of these are in totally different places, yet are kind of simlar. Maybe they should be combined in to a webmarket place for example, at least for payed work.

Since, if a web market forum is set up, for requests. People say what they want and what there willing to offer. Webdesigners can browse and put in an offer to do the work for that price, kinda like the bidding you see on other more webcentric forums.
Personally i think it could work quite well as habbox unlike most habbo forums has a really large and strong webdesign section within it, with alot of talent in with it.

The classification though as a mentioned earlier are kind of confusion, so additionally i have some exstra suggestions:

Website Jobs could be renamed "Website staff" as i feel it makes it more clear people can advertise there own avaiblity and skills for hire, as well as the normal method, others requesting people to come to them for jobs.

The requests section, should be left in webdesign and ONLY include requests for FREE work. This will get rid of the 20 replys per topic asking for pay.

In the WebMarket place, a new forum could be added for Paying jobs / Requests that offer payment. Then as said at the start of my post they can simply submit what they want and what they will pay for a given task, then let the webdesigners bid to get the job. (pharaps giving all thread starters thread closing ability's would be useful in such a forum if its possible to stop, people posting after the creator has already chosen someone to do the job?)
Then along with the payed jobs forum, the sellers forum, where people can advertise there layouts and scripts for sale, as is currently the case in webmarket. And of course webhosts, selling there plans etc.

As a final note, maybe to shrink the size of the tech and web category, the O/S forums should be combined in to one, or at least put as subforums or tech. Since i really cant see why the somewhat Minor Issue, or Operating systems really requires 3 entire forums ?

    Anyway, just my thoughts.
