Croydon was like totally flooded, after some heavy rain.. I was working in the cafe when every shop was flooded like 30 cm high, and outside was worse so we shut all the doors and it took 3 hours to clear up..

The condo complex I lived in flooded once, it wasn't bad for us because we're on the top floor, but the rain was beating on the glass roof really hard. It had underground parking and they tryed to keep the water out by closing the garage doors, but water > old garage door, but none of our cars we're home =)

I think the garage got like 3 feet of water in it, most cars were flooded up to the windows.

It also took FOREVER to clean-up because there was oil and gas that leaked out from peoples cars... It was just a messss!

I live in Manchester and I say I never had a flood yet. I live near the Manchester Ship Canal as well.
