Default Making your own chip things!

Well, my grandma used to do this for my dad when he was a kid. So I tried, taste GREAT.

    1. First, wash and chop up some potatoes. You'll need more if they're small. Chop them into crisp shapes, or chips (don't make big chunks).
    2. Fill a big pan with water, and put them all in. Don't put in too much water, only to cover the top of the potatoes!
    3. Turn the gas on (on the oven hob), I don't know what temperature I did, but it doesn't matter. Put the pan on the hob. Putting a lid on top helps it quicker!
    4. Wait and check them every few minutes. Get a fork and prod them, if it's soft they're done, if not then wait untill they go soft!
    5. Once thats done, take them out and put them on a plate. You can wait for them to cool, or not.
    6. Now, I don't have a fryer, so I had to use a frying pan. Put some oil in the bottom of the frying pan, so it layers it. Put in the potatoes!
    7. Light the hob once more, and put the pan on. It'll sizzle, so watch out! You can cook them as much or little as you want. You may want to put a lid on! Make sure you turn them over to make them crispy on the front and back. I make mine like chips, took 10 - 15 mins.
    8. Once done, you can eat and enjoy! If you have any left over potatoes from the first part, keep them in the fridge for another time!

It was only a quick thing, so if I missed anything don't get mad! They taste good, so I thought I'd share. Good if you only have potatoes!

Ohh, darn I pressed x to this before I posted it, almost lost it haha!

    I'm currently cooking some!

    Enjoy.

Thanks! I have some advice! Once you've boiled the potatoes, leave them to cool down then fry them, seemed to turn out better! Also, keep your eye on them and turn them over regularly! Tell me how they go, I've made 3 lots today
