    Default another tongue piercing Q.

Well i'm going to go for it and get it done, you only live once!

What would you recommend I put in it? My mum said I should get plastic balls on the barbell because a metal one will chip my teeth, if I play with it (which I know I will, I won't deny it, I fidget)

Or a flat plate? Or something... or just a regular silver ball?

(I'm not really looking for answers like "silver ball will look the best", i'm talking more like, health-wise)

    1. Jeremy 1129 up, 295 downA named based on the biblical name Jeremiah. Used as a name for children who are blessed with a large brain and/or penis. Also used as a replacement for "perfect".
We had a child and it had a very large penis so we named it Jeremy.

A metal one wont chip your teeth unless you bite it as hard as you can! I personally think a metal one looks better, but if you are worried get a plastic one! :]

A man who worked with my mom had a plastic one and his tounge actually healed over the plastic bit so he had to have it surgically removed :8
Im not sure if its only plastic ones that do it or it was a freak situation :]

yes it will, it knocks against your teeth and gradually wears the enamel down.

I'd go for a plastic one.

    ok, i'll go for it!

it's so tempting to get a metal one... perhaps i'll "train" myself not to fidget with it whilst I have a plastic one in, and if all goes well i'll switch to metal, because it does look so much better..

    and thanks everyone
