    rolling stone magazine recently came out with another one of their oh-so-famous lists. this time, the best current live acts. it is as followed:

    1. White Stripes
    2. Radiohead
    3. Pearl Jam
    4. Rage Against the Machine

    i'd kill to see a good portion of these bands. ive seen videos of lcd soundsystem live and they just don't let up. and im killing myself because i couldnt make it to the white stripes concert that came through here 2 weeks ago (@&$*&

    anyways, weve had threads like this before. who are the best live bands youve seen?

    Skindred, hands down. Not only did most songs sound just like the recordings, but the ones that didn't were better.

    i hate it when live shows sound like the album. you're just paying to go see it, when you could listen to it at home

    same. it would bore me a lot. i would rather a song sound worse than the album version than sound exactly like it.

    i have to admit white stripes have to be the best performance i've seen live as well it was probably because it was at a festival BIG DAY OUT

    Enter Shikari are awesome live, they really get the crowd going.. it's manic.

    everyone knows small local concerts where everyone personally knows the band playing are the best shows. a list like that is pointless. although, i was pleased to see gogol bordello there, but flogging molly should've had their place; they both play the same sort of gimmick punk and are even on the same label, but FM's music is more upbeat and the crowds are wayyy more interesting. irish dancing circlepits

    alexisonfire, moneen and coheed and cambria but on some pretty dope shows when I saw them.
