It hasn't always been for Sony, it was originally a Nintendo game
There is always a chance for it to go to the 360, since 360 has quite a few games that were originally only for PS, such as GTA, Tony Hawk games, Devil May Cry, I don't see why MGS will be any different, it isn't owned or published by Sony so it can go on any console the developers/publishers want really

I still don't think so, Konmai have a big contract deal with Sony plus it's a Japanese based company so i guess they'd want the japanese manufactured console to do best not the american one..

Um.. the playstation 2 didn't exist in 1987 or 1990

That was the order of release mate, Metal Gear come out on PS2 when it came out, that was the order of the releases of that game

It came out on MSX2 in 1987
