    Default Domain Problem?

    Hey,

Me and a mate were running a Habbo Fansite and it appears that Smartwave have closed with "immediate effect.

Now the other problem apart from them being our host is that our domain was purchased through them and using their Whois Details. Now they have closed we cant get our transfer number and we recently paid to extend the domain.

Is it possible to get a transfer another way? If not is there anything we can do?

Hmmm was Smartwave on a domain reseller? If so contact their reseller host.

Need a domain but dont have paypal... not to worry. You can purchase a domain via text or home phone at XeoDomains.mobi.

They only way to get it transfered away from them is if they give you the transfer auth code.

You should never register a domain with the host, always register else where and under your name.

If you get the auth code, I can help you transfer it to me (xeodomains) if you want.

You will have to try and email them. THe domain was registered via enom, but they wont do anything because its in their name

On the Whois, there is a phone number, in the US, you could try with Skype or somthing and see if you can get hold of the owner

    *Edit*

This is what i would do if i was you.

    1) find your PayPal transaction details:
    - dates
    - payment numbers
    - amounts

    2) get this: www.voipbuster.com and call them for free online. (or maybe get a parent if your under 18)

    3) explain that you paid for the domain, and can you have the auth code, giving paypal details.

hopfully, you should get the auth code
