Sampo Karjalainen, aka. Apparatus, is responsible of the concept design and look and feel of the original versions of Mobiles Disco and Habbo Hotel. As such, together with Aapo Kyrölä, aka. Kyrpov, he is one of the "fathers" of Habbo. Sampo is currently responsible of the concept and visual design of Habbo and also the head of the Research and Development team, which works on new game and online community concepts in their early stages.
