and now he wont admit wot he said was racist, meaning it or not,

he had such a great argument; that my prejudices are as bad as racism - and that it slipped of the tongue

but if racism slips off the tongue, isn't it worse?

Of course it is because he means he was thinking it but not saying it. I wouldn't be offended but I can see why you were.

Errr I have a close Jewish friend and I still call people Jews for a laugh. It's not racist if you're actually just doing it for the humour; it's sort of making fun of the racism itself.

Racist remarks are only a problem when you perceive them as one. Actions are different.

I assume he meant it "slipped off the fingers". I also assume by saying that you're "prejudice" he means postjudice, as you judged after the aforementioned remark. And thus saying that to judge someone after they've done something is on an equal level to discriminating an entire religion because they...managed to kill Jesus 2000 years after he'd already died, I guess the argument would be - as it always is.

Prejudice refers to the person who was being racist, not the person who he said it to.
