Just depends on your pain threshhold i suppose. It wouldnt hurt too much i dont think, its over within 3 seconds.

But youll get a lip the size of a balloon, which isnt fun rofl

i did mine myself (with proper hollow needles in a sterile environment, since someone always says something about me being stupid for doing it) and it didn't hurt atall.
however i took it out soon after because of school :\
but i'm glad i did since lip piercings are really common and look pathetic imo.
