    Default A job..

Well, I've been jobless for about 5 months now and it's getting well annoying as I don't have any money to actually do anything most of my mates are doing so I'm hopefully going job hunting at the weekend.

I was just wondering what's the best amount of hours to work a week? (I'm at collage so I can get more hours on some days) and also what would be a half good pay an hour?

    16 hours a week, 2ish hours a day, that's about £80-100. Not bad. Thanks.

Im at college and work 14.5 hours a week spread over 3 days but it depends on the place your working at, i reccomend going round the big supermarkets asking for application forms first.

It's obviously all relevant to your individual lifestyle and circumstances. For instance, if you have loads of clubs or stuff like football or something you maybe go to then your work time is obviously more restricted. I think you should maybe make an organised list of your commitments etc. and then find out the time you have available and try and look for a job based around that.

I generally thing 10 - 16 hours is a good amount for part time.

The job centre website is packed full of part-time jobs so take a look there!

Good luck with the hunt and keep us updated!
