    My female siamese fighting fish has jumped out of its enclosed tank, its been on the floor for about 10+ mins and its still alive, i couldnt believe it but apparently they can breathe air

    No, still alive once i put it in the tank i thought it was dead so i left it for a minute and straight away it was swimming again, looks like ill have to check the floor evermorning now

    Alot of fish can survive without water for a while. One time the new picture fell of the wall in the night and hit the fish tank (only a small one with a goldfish in) And the goldfish must have been on the floor for atleast 15 mins until my Dad came down to see what the noise was.

    My fish did that the first night, lasted about 12 hours, we found in mornin alive, put it back in, but because the gills had burnt, IT DROWNED o.o
