Basically i'm thinking about getting one but im wondering what shops you can use it in to get a student discount, and how you get that discount when you're in a shop.
So if anyone has one can you please post a list where you can get a discount as i can't find a decent list anywhere on the internet and also post what you do in a shop where you can get the discount if you want it.

The one i would be getting as a NUS associate card, you have to login to get a full list of where discounts are available http://www.nusonline.co.uk/associate/discounts/

Do you have a UCAS card already or are you at Uni? UCAS one gets discount at some decent shops and student rates elsewhere.

No, sixth form college. I just want a list of shops that will accept it, and how i go about using it in a shop that will accept it.

Pizzahut and topman/shop do for certain, you just show them it and they take 10% (i think) off.

most cards like that are useless because most of the shops (i.e topman) you just need to show your student card
