Armed Robbery

Now i do not know if this is classed as world news but anyway..

At about 8am this morning, police cars & helicopters flooded Wigan..

Last night (i think thats the time when it happened) there was an armed robbery in a shop in Abram (in Wigan). The robbers jumped into a car and drove it about 30 miles into Lowton. They dropped the evidence on a path next to 2 local primary schools and ditched the car near by.

I know this because I go to one of those primary schools (Im 11 and in year 6). Three police officers blocked off the path that the majority of the pupils take to go home and arrive at school. Fortunately, they opened the path at about 3pm.


There were rumours that someone had been shot, stabbed and murdered.
As far as the headteacher knows, it has only been a small robbery..

And Wigan had very busy traffic this morning due to a car crash incident.

Anyway.. it was really scary.
