Plug that cable from your 360 into your computer modem box and it works instead of shelling out 60quid on an adapter
The other day I was in a toilet.
A voice came from the cubicle next to me: "Hello mate, how are you doing?"
I didn't want to be rude, so I said, "Not too bad, thanks."
I heard the voice again. "So, what are you up to?"
Again I answered, "Just having a quick ****... How about yourself?"
Then I heard him say "Sorry, mate, I'll have to call you back. I've got some **** in the cubicle next to me answering everything I say."

    there are alternative methods.

eg. buy a wireless bridge, then connect that to your xbox by a small ethernet cable

this can save wires being dragged across the house

my uncle has this one and it works great for his 360, I suppose its worth a try

Wireless bridges are basically the same as wireless, but you plug it into the wired port. You need to configure the bridge with your PC before you connect it to your xbox, and your xbox would see it as a wired connection.

That is a very good alternative, well done to the guy above for remembering wireless bridges LOL. +REP
