    Default 1-99 Fletchin guide

Fletching is an important skill in Runescape. It's a cheap way to obtain ranging gear and a good way to make some cash. In the beginning there’s no profit from it but as soon as you can make yew longbows you will be rolling in cash if you just put some effort into it. I shall assume that you can chop all the logs required for fletching.

    Level 1-5
Normal trees can be found almost everywhere in Runescape. Take your trusty axe and a knife. Then chop down 78 logs. Fletch these into arrow shafts and you have 5 fletching. That easy or what?

    Level 5-10
Chop 153 logs. Fletch these into shortbows. You do not need to string them. There you already have 10 fletching.

    Level 10-20
This part is a bit longer but there’s a 10 level gain so it’s worth it. Chop down 332 logs then fletch these into longbows. You can now make oak shortbows! Do not string these either.

    Level 20-25
Oak trees can be found in various parts of Runescape. I suggest using the ones north of Falador or South of Falador. Chop down 205 oak logs and fletch these into oak shortbows. Do not string them.

    Level 25-35
Chop down or if you can buy 583 oak logs. Fletch these into oak longbows. Do not string them. Now you can make willow bows!

    Level 35-40
Willow trees are also found in various parts of Runescape. I suggest using the ones close to Draynor bank because it’s easy to bank here. Chop 445 willow logs and fletch these into willow shortbows. 40 fletching! You might actually have your fletching on the highscores now.

    Level 40-50
This part takes quite a few logs so I suggest buying some. Obtain 1545 willow logs and fletch these into willow longbows. Do not string them.

    Level 50-55
Congratulations! You can now make the best bows in non members. Maple logs can be found around Seers Village. From this point on I bought all the maple logs because it takes quite a while to chop them. Get 1307 maple logs and fletch these into maple shortbows. Do not String them. Once you have fletched them all you can sell them to the general store.

    55-65
This may require a lot of logs but it’s worth it. Soon you shall be able to make unbelievable amounts of money. Obtain 4851 maple logs or 2426 maple logs and 2426 bowstrings. I suggest just buy the maple logs because it takes less time with them. If you bought just the maple logs fletch these into maple longbows. Do not string. If you bought the bowstrings and the maple logs then fletch the bows and string them.

    65-70
Well now you’re able to make yew shortbows. Give yourself a pat on the back because it’s pretty tough getting this far. I recommend chopping the yew logs because you may want the woodcutting experience. Get 2167 yew logs and buy 2167 bowstrings. Fletch the logs into yew shortbows and string them.

    70-99
YAY!!! You got 70 fletching! Now you can make yew longbows. You can make as many as you want. This part is not really for experience but for making money. Make yew longbows and high alchemy them for 768gp each. Meaning every 1k(1000) yew longs you make and high alchemy you make 768k(768,000gp)! Do not make magic bows if you want money. They actually make you lose money. If anyone is curious you need to make 81,979 yew longs to get 99 fletching. Lol if you high alchemy that you get 62.9mil(62,959,872gp). That’s almost 63mil!!!
