    Default Soulja Boy Tell'em

I don't understand. Lately, I've been seeing people talking stuff about Soulja Boy & how they hate him & his music. I don't understand why. He just came out, give him sometime. He's young, new, & you have to admit, talented. Why do people hate him so much?

Soulja Boy, like many other crunk and snap music rap artists from the south, has come under criticism for his musical style. Similar to those other artists (such as D4L and Dem Franchise Boys), the main criticisms have been that his songs are low in quality lyrical content and have no real meaning or purpose. This is especially prevalent from the "Hip Hop is Dead" movement who think that modern crunk and snap music does not live up to the many great artists of the past.
thats what some people think, but i like some of his songs. but the quote said above is very true.

and yh, not everyone has to like a certain artist, regardless of if he is knew or old.

Soulja boy cussed out everyone because you know how people made Crank that spiderman or Crank that Batman jus to copy off his song. He got mad and made a vid addressing everyone. That's a contributing factor to his arrogance.
Baby, even my conversation is expensive. So if I were you, I'd pay attention.

America is the only reason why Hip Hop/Rap Etc is here.
It's not like UK or other country is producing these types of music!

Soulja Boy may be hated because his one song, Crank Dat is too played so much, and the song's lyrics keep going over and over again.

Hip Hop isnt dead, it lives in the South!
(of the USA, for people who don't know..ATL, Cashville, FLORIDA, Carolina and such)

Ok let me rephrase that for Hollister.

The good Hip-Hop is dead. It died when every song contained the words: Yeah, What, Okay. Late 03 early 04?
