I got my webbing (the nice flappy bit under your tongue) pierced around May time. I've got a bar in at the moment, though after tonight I'm going to replace it with a ring as soon as possible.
Bars're difficult to clean for one, food got stuck to it without me even knowing and after a while it looked terrible if I ever showed it to anyone. So I tried to get rid of the crap earlier. Due to the area being so soft and versatile, it was very difficult to get at the bar unless i awkwardly used both hands inside my mouth to hold it steady. Then I realised that I'd managed to pull it out.
All cleaned and that, I managed to put it back through - though now it won't centre itself - it feels loose and I fear that it might fall out before I find something bigger to fill the hole.
Now the advice part;
Has anyone ever experienced this or know what I should do? I'm considering taking it out and leaving it for a while but I'll only end up re-piercing it anyway. So - what should I do?
PS, as with most other thread starters, I don't appreciate posts that aren't helpful - please refrain from posting if you've nothing useful to say.

. I'll get it re-done in the new year after I get my tongue done.
