Is there really any point reporting -rep anymore?
Whenever you do you get +rep taken away?
The rep problems thread may as well be called get your +rep taken off.

The reason why Nick removes pointless good reputation is because he is enforcing a rule that has been around for a long time:

C12. Do NOT give pointless reputation - There are many reasons to give good reputation points. The post may have helped you, had been well written or be a very good reply. Giving rep points to others just because its a friend or negative reputation points just because you don't like somebody will not be tolerated. Giving bad reputation points when not called for or without a reason is also not tolerated. Anybody caught doing this may get a big reduction to their rep points or worse!

That's basically that's all he is doing, and he's even put it in the thread that the forum administrator has the right to remove any other reputation points that break the forum rules or is pointless.

I know what it's like, it's happened to me before, but I understand that is his job and only trying to give you a fair reputation.

I know it must be frustrating to have a lot of rep removed. =[

I think your spot on maybe its so ppl dont go report crazy and then the person checking the rep doesnt get well behind with 1000s of rep reported.

Here is what I posted in the complaint thread.

I don't like the idea of getting rep removed that was given to you if you never reported it. Maybe when you report somebody for giving you pointless or bad rep they should look at all the rep given by that person and manually deduct the total amount of pointless rep off their own accounts in admincp and leave the members who recieved it keep it? this way it would stop ppl pointless rep especially the people with high rep power.

It's just really annoying. I got 10 rep powers, it got put down to 9, then I got 10 again nearly 11, now it's 9.

I got about 200 rep removed before from nvrspk and I didn't report any, it was from something in my sig :S

I agree.

Pointless rep can easily be covered up anyway. Just put "Good Post +REP - Name" and they wouldn't know whether it's pointless or not?

The question i ask is do we really ned rep on a habbo forum? The forum i worked at we didnt have rep it was so much easier to moderate and it would save alot of supermods time.

I was at 17 now at 15.
It's stupid, why does it say report a specific reputation issue then? theres no point in it asking for date and time. The thread might aswell say "Get your pointless rep removed here"
Because you don't just remove the pointless rep we want removed, you remove it all.
