    Default arguement

well i had an arguement with my dad, he started going sick at me cos of the tone of voice i talk in (the voice i talk in when im stressed) and he's threatening to chuck me out. how can i apologise properly? i've tried but just saying 'im sorry' sounds pathetic

    any ideas? thanks

You could maybe just ask to speak to him, or call some sort of family meeting so that it's a time where you will both sit down, speak and listen to each other fully.

Just explain to him how you really are sorry for the way you speak at times, but ask that he tries to understand your going through a stressful time and that you don't necessarily mean it.

    He's your dad - I'm sure he'll understand!

Maybe you can pull him aside, the two of you and tell him how you're feeling, etc. and why you wanted to talk to him.
