First, I like the fact that you're welcoming constructive criticism!

I think it's a nice forum, however is a little plain? Perhaps that's how you want it, but from an outsider, I look at it and it seems a little bland.

Nice forum nonetheless. Good luck with your future endeavors.

To improve this site you need 'activity'. Due to the lack of members and contribution to threads and posts, the site looks empty. When I first loaded the link I automatically looked at the banner, then down the column where it states the amount of threads and posts. Automatically it put me off the forum, as there isn't enough people to speak with.

So you need a way to get people on and using the site, however like I said will be difficult due to lack of people already. Maybe do a promotion/competition for the first 100, 200, 300 and so on posts. It'll have to be good though, like a free PSP or something like I did with my site. As soon as we launched the competition for the PSP name ideas came flooding in. Sadly no one won because they were all useless and I ended up coming up with the domain idea. Still it worked and got attention.

You also have the problem that you are a very niche community advertising to another niche community. Therefore it's unlikely for us to switch to your forum. You need to get onto online radios and see if they have advertising space or even air space for sale. Then buy as much as possible for as little as possible. That would quickly get you members.
