Maybe he felt like the thread was made to take the piss out of him ?
I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.

Well I think it is a bit of a pointless thread especially as he has said it is nothing to do with you which he is entitled to do but I am not sure about it causing arguments. Depends why you posted it really and whether you two have 'history'. Some threads can start as seemingly quite innocent and then descend into bullying which is the main purpose of the thread in the first place. I am not saying it is in this case though as I don't know.

In my opinion moderators should not be allowed to deal with things which they are involved in, as bias comes into play.

I don't see why this thread was closed either.

I guess this could have been closed by a moderator who forgot to leave an edit, or Glen has the wrong display group set and is VIP.

Personally I would have closed this thread myself. The thread was directed at another forum member and although It probley wouldn't have caused an argument or anything to start off with I'm sure it would very quickly turn into a thread which just contained abuse towards that member, ie a comment that was already made in the thread "If he had a job he wouldn't be on here all day infracting and posting on Forum games would he?". The thread would probley turn quite quickly into a form of bully against said member and that's why it was closed.

If anything the user should of been edited and not the thread closed.

I support him closing that thread.

You asked him a direct question, and you received an answer, therefore there is no more need for discussion or for the thread to remain open.

I know, but there is still no need to close the thread.
